Creating Solutions
for a quality life
requires
a Community Vision
for everyone.

Welcome

Things have been busy here at Creating Solutions. We have found a sponsor whose values and goals for people with disabilities are in keeping with the work of Creating Solutions. It's an exciting time for us at Creating Solutions. Read the Director's Blog for more information about this exciting partnership.

Rumor has it summer is on it's way. Judging by the weather, they may or may not be right. It's hard to tell these days. For me, summer means putting together a new and inspiring set of people and activities to support Andy and his interests. In her article, In-Home Support as "Life Support for the Soul," Lisa Ackerson Lieberman shares important advice regarding setting boundaries for you and your family when hiring help in your home. It's always worth reviewing.

Last, we're heading to Boston this summer for the NDSC Convention. Creating Solutions will be participating with Dr. George Capone and Toni Robinson to host a pre conference session for families of kids with Down syndrome and "a little bit more." I will also be presenting nutrition-related workshops on Saturday and Sunday, and holding down the fort at the Phronesis Publishing Exhibit. Please stop by and share your thoughts with us as we begin to move forward in our new home with Community Vision. (It may be the last time I'm seen in public again with the fundraising ride on the horizon...)

Creating Solutions for a quality life requires a Community Vision.

You are our community!

Warmly,

Joan
